Cliques of Armenians Unite!
Because Armenians are scattered throughout the world, we have many different types of Armenian communities in different countries. Each communities has its own distinct flavor of traditions, speech, food, etc. The CSUN Armenian Student Association embraces any kind of "tsi" (e.g. Beirut-tsi, Hayasdan-tsi, Haleb-tsi, etc).
And yes, we all work together and have fun doing it!
About Us
CSUN is home to over 3,000 Armenian students, the second largest minority on campus. Appropriately, ASA provides a medium for students to interact, network, and participate in activities showcasing Armenian culture and identity.
We also strive to educate the campus about Armenian topics like culture, history, politics, and education as well as promote awareness on campus about Armenian causes such as the Armenian Genocide.
Some of our activities include Armenian Culture Day, Armenian Genocide Commemoration Vigil, Independence Day Celebration, Literary Evening, lectures from guest speakers and visiting guests from Armenia, fund raisers, and many more other fun and educational events.
We also offer opportunities for scholarships, internships, and other special programs.
The ASA assists students with academic and non academic issues.
And best of all, the ASA celebrates the joys of being Armenian!
